Prof. Ahmed Osman Hasan Rizq is a visionary academic leader, pioneering educator, and internationally recognized dental specialist. He is currently the Vice-Chancellor of Elrazi Medical University Kano, building on decades of experience and excellence that began with the founding of Elrazi University Sudan.
Prof. Rizq’s journey in higher education and healthcare leadership is marked by his unwavering commitment to advancing academic standards, fostering innovation, and shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals. He founded Elrazi University in Sudan, transforming it from a modest college into a full-fledged university known for academic excellence, professional development, and cutting-edge research. His leadership extended to establishing modern medical and dental centers, launching advanced academic programs, and creating the first smart classroom facilities and health-focused radio station in the region.
An accomplished Professor of Forensic Dentistry, Prof. Rizq has pioneered the field in Sudan, mentoring countless students in dentistry, forensic medicine, and related postgraduate programs. He has also contributed to international collaborations, representing Elrazi University in academic forums, global conferences, and partnerships across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and beyond. His dedication to fostering professional networks has positioned both Elrazi University Sudan and Elrazi Medical University Kano as leading institutions in medical education.
Beyond academics, Prof. Rizq is a founder of multiple healthcare and educational initiatives, including modern dental centers in Khartoum and Omdurman, the Islamic Medical Association in Uganda, and numerous international partnerships that advance medical research and training.
